Reservations and cancellation policy:

Standard rate booking

In order to confirm a reservation at the standard rate, we ask for a prepayment of 50% of the total amount, at the time the reservation is made. The remaining 50% will be due 30 days before check-in date.

Cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the check-in date, with the refund of the amount paid, minus the costs related to payment commissions. Cancellation less than 30 days before check-in or changing check-in or check-out dates implies full payment of the stay.

 

Non-refundable rate booking:

Reservation cancellation with a non-refundable rate will not result in a refund of the payment made.

 

No-show

No-show requires payment of the total amount of the stay, and the reservation is cancelled.

Check-in and check-out:

Check-in: > 15:00h. Early check-in is possible at another time, depending on availability.

Check-out: < 10.30h

We can do luggage storage.

 

Daily cleaning:

Rooms are cleaned daily, with replacement of towels, between 9:00 and 14:00.

 

Meals:

Breakfast: It is included for all guests and is served between 7.45 am and 10 am. Early breakfast is possible upon request; in this case, a more simplified self-service buffet will be available.

Pic-nic take away: The reservation of this service must be made 24 hours in advance.

Bar: This service is available 24/7 in self-service mode and is based on the principle of commitment and honesty.

Dinner: This is a seasonal service, available depending on the season of year and the availability of own production, so it may or may not be available during your stay.

 

Conduct rules:

Noise: It is forbidden to make noise after 10pm.

Smoking: Smoking (tobacco, electronic cigarettes or others) is prohibited in all enclosed spaces, including rooms and indoor common areas. Smokers are invited to smoke outside and to use the ashtrays available there.

 

Kids:

0-2 years: 1 baby/room can be accommodated free of charge in a crib, depending on availability.

3-12 years: 1 child/room can be accommodated in an extra bed to be installed in the room, for an extra fee.

 

Civil responsability:

Parents or accompanying adults are fully responsible for the behavior of their children, assuming the costs of consumption, damages, and accidents. Children must be accompanied and always supervised, especially in the pool and gardens.

 

Pets:

Pets are not allowed. In special cases, you should contact Quinta da Meia Eira and assess the possibility. Pets will be charged in this case.

At Quinta da Meia Eira you will find pets, such as cats and dogs, which cannot be taken indoors.

 

Pool:

The use of the pool and 1 pool towel/day/person are included in the room rate.

The swimming pool is not fenced; therefore parents or guardians of children must permanently supervise their children during their stay.

The use of the swimming pool is done under the exclusive responsibility of the users; Quinta da Meia Eira is not responsible for any accidents.

As we can have the pool water at warm temperatures, we use chlorine water treatment to ensure its safe use.

The temperature of the pool water is variable.
